Integral GIS is continually innovating and evolving our application of spatial technologies to problems our clients face. So far, we have done a great job at innovation and application, but as a leader within the spatial application technology industry, we need to always examine what we do well and what we can improve upon.

One way an organization (Integral GIS included) can always improve is in the building of a more connected, more energetic and more empathetic working group. This helps us internally, as well as reflecting one of our core values and business functions:

Issues surrounding adaptive change are very difficult, so one might be tempted to throw a technological solution at the problem, instead of utilizing an adaptive solution. Though GIS is seen as a technological solution, it requires (if properly implemented) an adaptive change on the part of our clients. Spatial thinking and analysis leads to better, more informed decision-making, but this takes an adaptive shift in the relationship that our clients have with their own information.
