Project Title: Northwest Wind Mapping

Summary: Integral GIS, Inc. built ArcIMS sites capable of mapping Wind potential for the Northwest thereby making new high-resolution, state-of-the-art maps of wind energy potential and resource estimates easily accessible to the public through an interactive GIS website.

Result: Web-based interactive maps like this enable government planners, energy service companies, developers, businesses, and home owners to examine resource information using the most up-to-date data available. Hopefully, it will facilitate future wind energy planning and site-location decisions, as well as technology transfer initiatives.
